whats the point of going on a cruise if you arent going to get off the ship…are you crazy? You dont want to experience other cultures…you dont want to see things you wouldnt normally see in america…..and getting a passport really isnt much of a hassle….you just get your pic taken at walgreens or somewhere…take the pictures and your birth certificate to the post office along with your ID..and money…and that is that…they mail it off and you get you passport in a couple of months. You will have to check with the cruise line as to what their polices are. I didnt need one when I went…but that was 3 years ago before they changed all the passport rules….so ask the cruise line…and get off the ship…you are missing out on a lot!
