I was just wondering how people dance in the clubs on cruises, in the 18+ clubs, not the tween or teen clubs. Pretty much I just want to know if people dance really dirty in them. Thanks in advance for your answers!

Melissa N asked:

So much food is wasted on cruises every year..
Maybe cruise companies can start donating wasted food at ports?
What’s wrong with donating the food at the port areas for human consumption?

Smart Guide to World Cruise Ship asked:

Cruise ship pollution has become a growing problem for our oceans, which has now directly affect our live!

As the cruise industry is growing fast, the rapidly expanding size and number of cruise ships has triggered a worldwide cruise ship pollution crisis.

Environmental laws have not kept pace with growth of the cruise ship industry.Even though there are cruise lines have made their effort to take up this challenge, more effort is needed for the good of human health and the marine too!

It’s all started that cruise ships are allowed to dump sewage and garbage directly into oceans as they do not have to comply with environmental and water quality protection laws that are required for municipalities by any countries.

Cruise ships produce large volumes of waste which is dumped directly into oceans. Some of that waste is treated prior to dumping; other waste is dumped directly to the ocean without a second thought.

We already know that cruise ships generate a huge amount of pollution everyday:

Blackwater: 25,000 gallons of sewage from toilets.

Graywater: 143,000 gallons from sinks, galleys, baths, showers , laundry, and galleys.

Garbage and solid waste: 7 tons, non-hazardous or hazardous in nature.

Hazardous wastes: 15 gallons of toxic chemicals.

Oily bilge water: 7,000 gallons

Ballast water

Air pollution

And we also know that these wastes if released without proper treatment, they can put pathogens, nutrients, and toxic substances into the environment that could threaten human health and aquatic life –

Yes, they do!

Now, what can we do? What should we do? … your choice!

New laws and standards are urgently needed to save our ocean.

Good care is needed to make our Earth the better living place for you and for me!
