    I know there are very few that ever stay that long in one port.

    Cruises offer overnight in any given port and allows you the beauty of cruising is that it gives.

    Muster is right, a cruise allows you to see multiple ports in a shorter amount of time, rather than just one port. It really allows you to do and see different things all in one trip.
